Valuations

  • “Red Book” valuations for market value or market rent, as defined by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) including annual rental value or capital value of the freehold or long ground leasehold interests.

  • Valuations for bank lending or accounting & pension fund purposes, including annual revaluations, updates and rent reviews.

  • Valuations for taxation planning e.g. Capital Gains Tax (CGT), probate, etc.

  • Reinstatement valuations for insurance against fire and other normal risks.

  • Valuations for rating purposes to check the accuracy of the Rateable Value to minimise business rates liability.

  • If a formal valuation has already been carried out, either by us or another firm of Chartered Surveyors, it is possible, by mutual agreement, to prepare a simple short form of revaluation. This obviously takes less time and has a direct and beneficial effect upon the level of fees.
