Not many property consultants are recruiting in these difficult economic times, but Drake Commercial, who only re-established in January 2008, have taken on Jurgen Strack who is a specialist in retail development. Jurgen, who has an MSc in Real Estate, was formerly the acquisitions manager with the discount supermarket group LIDL and has experience of city centre shopping schemes and out of town retailing, both in the UK and on mainland Europe. Tony Drake of Drake Commercial comments:- “We are delighted to buck the trend and expand our operations, despite the febrile economic conditions that we are experiencing. Jurgen has the experience and enthusiasm to make a major contribution towards our success. This is only the start of our ambitions to expand the business as we are in discussions with another surveyor who, in the new year, may also want to ‘come to the party’.
